DES MOINES, IA-DECEMBER 18, 2017- August marked My Place Hotels of America’s debut in the state of Iowa. Now My Place Hotel-Ankeny/Des Moines, IA is in the final days of construction while its team prepares to welcome guests as Iowa’s third, and America’s 37th location. The newly constructed three-story, 46-room hotel is set to open within the final days of 2017 at 2506 SE Tones Drive, offering guests easy access to Des Moines’ commerce centers in addition to a plethora of diverse dining and retail options nearby.
The hotel is the second of 40 My Place Hotels planned by owner Matt Eller and partners, who first announced their plan to build 40 My Place Hotels at the Altoona My Place Hotel’s groundbreaking in May. While his team prepares to open their second Des Moines area hotel, their third location is already underway in Davenport. Based in Ames, Iowa, Eller said his group is both excited and encouraged by the concept’s reception in Altoona.
